Ingredients
- 10-12 black peppercorns crushed Piper Nigrum
- 6-8 cloves crushed
- 8 cardamom pods crushed
- 3-3 slices of fresh ginger minced
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1-5 tsp dried orange peel
- 2-3 star anise pods
- 2 tablespoons of loose organic black tea (3-4 teabags)

Instructions
- Place water and Astragalus Root in a pot and bring to boil, simmer covered 10 minutes.
- Add the spices and simmer an additional 20 minutes until tea is reduced to 3 cups.
- Turn off heat, add tea and cover – steeping for 10 minutes.
- Strain tea and stir in ¼ cup of honey to sweeten.
- Bottle tea concentrate, it will keep in refrigerator 3-4 days.
- To serve mix equal parts with organic milk, almond milk or soy milk.
- Yields 3 cups of concentrate.
