Astragalus Root, Immune-boosting Chai Tea

star anise pods

tablespoons
of loose
organic black tea (3-4 teabags)
Instructions
Place water and Astragalus Root in a pot and bring to boil, simmer covered 10 minutes.
Add the spices and simmer an additional 20 minutes until tea is reduced to 3 cups.
Turn off heat, add tea and cover – steeping for 10 minutes.
Strain tea and stir in ¼ cup of honey to sweeten.
Bottle tea concentrate, it will keep in refrigerator 3-4 days.
To serve mix equal parts with organic milk, almond milk or soy milk.
Yields 3 cups of concentrate.
