Selected Archived Programs and Events,

Need a reason to join the SAHS? Look what you'll be a part of when you join this amazing group of gardens, cooks, and herbal enthusiasts!
This space is an archive of past programs and speakers. There's lots of wisdom and diversity in the SAHS programs, which are open to the public (except for the Members' Only banquets twice a year - a great reason to join the SAHS).

On March 10, 2016 the San Antonio Herb Society will presented a demonstration of Kokedama, the Japanese Moss Ball Garden or String Garden by Betty Riggs, a member of the Windcrest Garden Club. She was looking for a new a different way out of the box when she came across “Kokedama”, the Japanese Moss Ball String Garden. The outside growing area is smaller to not existent for most Japanese so hanging plants with string in the homes and windows is a perfect solution.

The presentation will be at the San Antonio Garden Center at 3310 N. New Braunfels on March 10 from 6:30 to 8:30. Free and open to the public.
