Our annual Members Spring Banquet was held at the Garden Center on May 12th, and the theme was The Scents of Spring. It was a great choice for Chairperson Jean Dukes, whose program following the meal was a fascinating look at the essential oils from each of the herbs that adorned the eight round tables.
We always expect the food to be outstanding, and it was. Before the main course, a business meeting was held to elect the slate of officers for the coming year.
There were plenty of door prizes to go around at the end. Every one left happy and full - kudos to Jean and the decorating team that made the tables unforgettable.
